In an article published by Daily Caller, amidst differing accounts, the White House has raised suspicions about the Russian government’s role in the apparent assassination of Russian Mercenary Leader Yevgeny Prigozhin. These suspicions stand in contrast to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s denials. While acknowledging no new assessment, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stressed the evident circumstances, suggesting that the situation was both foreseeable and predicted.
Jean-Pierre further highlighted the Kremlin’s long-standing pattern of eliminating adversaries, attributing this incident to the internal dysfunction within Russia. It’s worth noting that the Wagner Group had undertaken a coup attempt earlier in June, eventually reaching an agreement between Russian Mercenary Leader Yevgeny Prigozhin and Putin.
The subsequent killing, occurring two months after the deal, led Jean-Pierre to assert the apparent nature of the situation.
