Destroyed Ballistic Missiles

The U.S. military destroyed two anti-ship ballistic missiles and an unmanned surface vessel launched by Houthis from Yemen.

The said ballistic missiles were considered a threat to coalition and merchant vessels present in the region.

The U.S. military has successfully destroyed ballistic missiles, showcasing their dedication to safeguarding maritime operations in the region.

According to a published article by The Straits Times, the Houthis’ aggressive actions towards threats such as the said ballistic missiles only serve to further destabilize an already tense situation, and all parties must prioritize peaceful resolutions to conflicts.

Chaos At The Southern Red Sea

In a published article by Yahoo, footage from a French frigate shows the warship shooting down three Houthi ballistic missiles in the southern Red Sea.

France is part of an EU security mission, Operation Aspides, to protect international shipping lanes from Iran-backed Houthis.

The rebels have been firing anti-ship ballistic missiles and other weapons at vessels off the coast of Yemen.

The US Navy and other Western allies are actively engaging in preemptive strikes to counter these attacks.

In a recent incident, French, German, and American forces destroyed Houthi drones and boats to protect commercial ships in the region.
