US Military Standby Order for Potential Israel and U.S. Military Ties in Israel-Hamas Conflict Revealed,

A standby order for prospective ground involvement in the Israel-Hamas conflict was detailed in a U.S. Air Force personnel memo that was recently obtained by The Intercept. In the aftermath of escalating tensions with Hamas, this disclosure offers insight into the Pentagon’s preparedness to assist Israel, inciting Israel and U.S. Military involvement.

The U.S. military reportedly issued prepare-to-deploy orders for 2,000 personnel in anticipation of Gaza support after Hamas’s attack on October 7. The memo emphasizes the Pentagon’s readiness to respond to an escalated conflict in the region, despite the absence of explicit signs of imminent U.S. ground involvement.

The documents obtained by The Intercept, particularly in Iraq and Syria emphasize the persistent U.S. military presence in the Middle East. ISIS-related ongoing deployments maintain the presence of United States forces in the region, notwithstanding previous declarations of troop disengagement.
