Rancho Santa Fe Foundation’s Commitment

Rancho Santa Fe Foundation has consistently demonstrated its commitment to enhancing the community across various domains, including education, health, and military and veterans. Their upcoming fall 2023 grant cycle will center on improving academic success for K-6 students in underserved North County San Diego communities.

San Diego County, home to the nation’s largest concentration of military personnel, faces unique challenges related to the high cost of living, particularly for military families. This includes the challenge of military spouse employment, where the cost of childcare often becomes a major barrier to work.

The Patriots Connection grants from the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation, dispersed to the 14 chosen organizations, aim to address these multifaceted issues. The initiatives supported range from youth enrichment programs to emergency financial assistance, financial literacy, housing, and homeless intervention.

In this recent round of grant awards, Rancho Santa Fe Foundation granted multi-year and single-year grants to their partner organizations. Including multi-year grants is a strategic move, allowing nonprofit partners to invest more time in their communities without the constant pressure of the grant application process.

For those interested in contributing to any of these grantmaking areas or seeking to make a difference in the San Diego region, Rancho Santa Fe Foundation provides an opportunity to engage. Donations, whether big or small, are harnessed to have a significant impact.
