According to the report of Military.com, Last week there was a big problem at the Marine Corps base in Twentynine Palms California. A person from China tried to get into the base without permission even after being told not to by the military police. They were caught quickly but its worrying because it might be connected to spying on important military places in the U.S.

People are getting more and more worried about spies from China trying to learn secrets from American military bases. Some have pretended to be tourists to sneak into these places. We even seen cases where they tried to get information from U.S. soldiers. In this case were not sure if its spying but the investigators are still trying to figure out why this person tried to get into the base. This breach also makes us think about safety. Not long ago a young boy from a Marine family died in a car accident at the main gate of the base. Its sad and now with this security problem its even scarier. We need to do more to keep the base safe for everyone. Investigators are working hard to understand what happened and to make sure it does happen again. We need to make sure our military bases are safe for the people who live and work there.
