Arrested on Friday was a Tysean Effinger, 23 years old, in connection to the murder of the victim, Kevin Ardis on January 25.
Suspect in Russell Neighborhood Shooting Appeared in Court
Tysean Effinger, a Louisville man, was identified by the Louisville Metro Police who shot and killed Kevin Ardis on January 25 on Muhammad Ali Boulevard near 21st Street. The two have a fight in front of a liquor store, reported by Wave.
On Friday, Feburary 16, Effinger was arrested and will be facing charges of murder. He was also found with a gun while being a convicted felon.
Effinger will be back in court this late February and the judge set his bond at $100,000.

Argument in Front of a Liquor store
In front of a liquor store on Muhammad Ali Boulevard, a camera captured Kevin Ardis and Tysean Effinger having a fight. Ardis was shot in the chest and Effinger was loading the gun, according to WDRB.
Around 7pm on January 25, Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) responded to the location and found Ardis, already shot. Ardis was immediately brought to UofL Hospital but was pronounced dead the next morning, WLKY.
