Body of Missing Maryland Woman Found
According to Reyes, on August 6, at around 1:07 p.m., a citizen called 911 to report about the body of the missing Maryland woman they found off the trail. During a press conference on the evening of that day, Sheriff Jeff Gahler of Harford County announced that after the discovery, the investigation shifted from a missing person case to a homicide. Nonetheless, Gahler stated that while he believes the body recovered belongs to the missing Maryland woman, the medical examiner is yet to confirm the identity and the cause of death.
