Tyesha Bethea was arrested for threatening an individual with a firearm in a daycare parking lot in Delaware. The road rage suspect allegedly pointed a gun and struck the victim’s car several times.
On May 16, at around 9 a.m., authorities from the New Castle County Police responded to a call from a woman stating that she was threatened with a firearm in a daycare parking lot. Reportedly, the victim and the suspect were involved in a road rage incident on Kirkwood Highway, Delaware and pulled over into the parking lot to settle the situation.According to Vacchiano, unfortunately, when the victim drove toward the road rage suspect’s parked car, the latter pointed a firearm at her. In addition, the suspect also struck the victim’s car with the firearm several times which resulted in minor damages. The road rage suspect also reported to the authorities but denied any misconduct the victim had accused.

Charges Faced by Road Rage Suspect
An article in Fox 29 states that upon arriving at the scene, authorities searched the road rage suspect’s car and discovered an empty holster and a black 9mm handgun hidden under a child’s car seat. Reports say the suspect was eventually identified as Tyesha Bethea, 35, of Newark.
Thereafter, the road rage suspect was arrested and faced charges of carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of a weapon in a safe school zone, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, terroristic threatening, and criminal mischief. Bethea was reportedly booked into Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a bail worth $88,000.
