Three people were killed and six others injured, including two officers from a New Mexico mass shooting incident, that occurred in Farmington before officers confronted and killed the 18-year-old gunman, police said Monday.

The Farmington Police Department said that the gunman had murdered 3 civilians and 6 injured individuals among the 6 were the 2 police officers who responded to the incident in the New Mexico mass shooting. Those 6 injured are already being treated for their injuries at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington.
Moreover, in an ABC News reported that authorities said that the gunman randomly shot cars and houses on Monday. Police Chief Steve Hebbe claimed that the 18-year-old gunman uses 3 different weapons, including an AR-style rifle as he roamed a quarter-mile area through a neighborhood Monday morning.
Hebbe also claimed that the rampage seems to be random. “There were no schools, no churches, no individuals targeted,” he said, adding the shooter appeared to fire at what “entered his head.”
The identity of the gunman was still unidentified other than he was 18 years old.

The Police Are Still Investigating The New Mexico Mass Shooting
Around 10:57 AM Officers have been receiving reports about a mass shooting that occurred in Farmington, New Mexico, a city with approximately 45,000 people about 200 miles north of Albuquerque. When officers arrived where the shooting takes in they discovered a “chaotic scene,” with the suspect firing into the neighborhood randomly.
Several departments are working together such as the Farmington Police Department, New Mexico State Police, and U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives responded to the scene and are still currently investigating the New Mexico mass shooting.
