Great Falls, MT – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for central, north central, and southwest Montana through 9 a.m. MST Tuesday, with additional snow accumulations of up to one inch expected.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued the advisory, which includes areas such as Great Falls, Stanford, and West Yellowstone. According to the NWS, slippery road conditions are likely to impact the Tuesday morning commute, particularly on mountain passes like Bozeman Pass, Kings Hill Pass, and Raynolds Pass.

Motorists are advised to slow down and exercise caution while traveling. Current road conditions can be accessed by calling 511 or visiting the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) Road Report website.

This advisory signals an 80% likelihood of minor travel disruptions during the affected hours.
