Los Angeles Burglary Investigated By LAPD As Possible Anti-Jewish Hate Crime

The LAPD is investigating a Los Angeles burglary as a possible anti-Jewish hate crime due to the threats the suspect made against the victims. Further reports say the suspect was also seen in a video shouting “Free Palestine” outside the crime scene.

On October 25, at around 5:25 a.m., officers from the LAPD responded to a call in the 3000 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City as a possible Los Angeles burglary incident. However, due to the unspecified threats allegedly made by the suspect against the residents of the house, the LAPD investigated and later classified the Los Angeles burglary as a possible anti-Jewish hate crime.

According to Sternfield, when the LAPD officers arrived, they found the Los Angeles burglary suspect armed with a kitchen knife. Further reports say when he was taken into custody without incident, the suspect yelled “Free Palestine” and “Brown Lives Matter”. Nonetheless, the LAPD officers later identified the Los Angeles burglary suspect as Daniel Garcia.

Los Angeles Burglary Victims

According to Harris, one of the victims, who was nine months pregnant, reported that their four children were inside the house at the time and she was calling 911 when the Los Angeles burglary suspect fought with her husband. Fortunately, the LAPD officers stated that there were no injuries reported.
