U.S. And China Relations Under Biden And Xi
On the other hand, an article in CBS 4 – Indianapolis states that the meeting of Sullivan and Wang is considered in China as a renewal of the possibility that U.S. and China relations will strengthen after Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping could meet on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in San Francisco, Calfornia this coming November.
However, Xi’s absence at the G20 summit in India creates doubt that the Chinese President is keen on the opportunity to meet with Biden. Due to this, a Chinese intelligence agency stated that the U.S. needs to show more sincerity in persuading Xi to attend the summit in the U.S.
