As reported in Fox News, on Saturday, August 19, Phillies Trea Turner Turner led the Phillies’ 12-3 victory against the Washington Nationals when Phillies Trea Turner obtain two remarkable home runs. According to the report, Phillies Trea Turner led off the top of the eighth inning with a solo home run off Abbot, allowing the Phillies to score a 4-3 lead. Excitement ensued when five of the next six batters reached base. Bryson Stott, with two outs, hit a three-run homer, giving the Phillies’ lead to seven runs. Phillies Trea Turner then moved to the plate and hit his second home run of the inning, extending an eight-run eighth inning for the Phillies.

Phillies Trea Turner’s Home Run Feat Not Seen In 15 Years

Phillies Trea Turner’s incredible multiple home run feat, according to ESPN Stats & Info, has made him the sixth player since the expansion era (1961) to hit multiple home runs off the same pitcher in the same inning and the first to do it since its last occurrence by Hall of Famer David Ortiz in 2008.
