A’s Fan Reverse Boycott

Two months ago, A’s fans conducted a protest called “reverse boycott” where they gathered as many A’s fans as possible at Washington National’s ballpark aiming to persuade Major League Baseball to veto A’s move to Las Vegas.

According to USA Today’s report, Commissioner Rob Manfred has forsaken the relocation fee for Fisher. The reason for the relocation of A’s to Las Vegas, according to Fisher, club president Dave Nawal and Manfred, is not their lack of skill but the A’s fan and civic indifference.

A’s Fan Said A’s Roster Is Not A’s Fans Fault

An A’s fan by the name of Ben Miller who has gone to the Coliseum since he was three and was adept in analytics said that a figure stands out to him, the 27,000 A’s fans who attended the reverse boycott, adding that he was glad to know that A’s fans aren’t the problem regarding A’s roster.

Meanwhile, A’s fan Ontiveros said the A’s roster was a middle finger to the A’s fans, saying that ownership has put the blame on the A’s fans not showing up. Ontiveros still hoped that it was going to 50-50 and it’s the reason why he flew to D.C.

Another A’s fan, Keith Person, from Philadelphia, bought a SELL shirt for $15. Despite A’s roster, she’s firm on rooting for A’s but as long as Fisher’s the owner, she refused to spend any money flying to Las Vegas.
