Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board Approves Bond for National Park College

At National Park College, the pressing demand for additional housing facilities prompted President John Hogan to appeal to the board for support. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board has greenlit a substantial bond issue, not to exceed $6.675 million, with an interest rate capped at 6.7%.

This funding will be instrumental in constructing a state-of-the-art residential housing facility, providing comfortable accommodations for up to 180 students.

As the board focuses on meeting the needs of the students, they reiterate that “the need is there,” and the new housing facility is slated for completion by the fall of 2025.
