11 Prostitution Suspects Arrested, 4 Victims Rescued During Undercover Operation in Minnesota

Eleven prostitution suspects were arrested and four victims were rescued during an undercover operation in St. Paul, Minnesota. Reports say agents and investigators posed as minors and sex clients for the operation.

News released by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension states that on July 27 and 28, after an undercover operation in the city of St. Paul, eleven prostitution suspects were arrested and four female victims of trafficking were rescued.

An article in KSTP states that the eleven prostitution suspects then faced felony charges. Reports say ten of the prostitution suspects were arrested on probable cause felony solicitation of a minor under 18 years of age for prostitution and only one of the prostitution suspects was arrested on probable cause felony promotion of prostitution. To date, all eleven prostitution suspects are booked into Ramsey County Jail.

Identities of Prostitution Suspects

According to an article in CBS News, the eleven prostitution suspects are expected to face charges in the coming days. In addition, the prostitution suspects were also identified as Jose Jacinto Guaman Quizhpi, 29, and Rodrigue Lauture, 42, both from Minneapolis, Robert Jeremy Yang, 41, and Toula-Joe Yang, 35, both from St. Paul, Leonard David Caston, Jr., 30, from Mondovi, and Malvin Chirongoma, 25, from Inver Grove Heights.

In addition, the prostitution suspects were also identified as Yonis Abdiweli Hashi, 22, from Eden Prairie, Geber Danian Lopez Mejia, 34, from Blaine, Brandon Emmanuel Rivera Ruiz, 22, from Richfield, Abdul Jameer Shaik, 33, from Chanhassen, and Thomas Charles Stephenson, 23, from St. Michael.
