The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has announced a reward for any valuable tips that can aid detectives in apprehending the perpetrator responsible for the tragic Fresno County shooting that killed a worker.

The victim of the Fresno County shooting, identified as James Buford of Sanger met a fatal end last week, leaving the authorities struggling to make headway in their investigation.
According to ABC30, the 69-year-old victim of the Fresno County shooting was discovered shot in the vicinity of Piedra and Elwood roads, in close proximity to Winton Park, on Wednesday, July 20.
James Buford was a dedicated individual contracted by Fresno County to provide on-site security services for the park. The sheriff’s office reported that it was a utility worker who stumbled upon Buford, who was seriously injured at the time. Urgently, he was rushed to a nearby hospital but despite medical efforts, he tragically succumbed to his wounds.
James Buford Jr., son of the victim, mourned the loss of his father, describing him as a man who epitomized love through his actions throughout his life.
