A 21-year-old pregnant woman was fatally killed as four others were injured when a heated argument turned into shots being fired at a birthday party in Houston, Texas.
Pregnant Woman Killed Report
The Houston Police Department responded at Margaret Jerkins Park on July 22, through a report of 36-gun shots from their ShotSpotter technology. The shooting incident happened around 1:00 am.
According to the statement of the mother of the pregnant woman killed: Ebony Vallian; they are about to leave the park when a dispute between two different groups escalated, which initiated one man to haul his gun and prompted another man to get out of his truck with his gun.
The pregnant woman killed was identified as Autumn Vallian. Three of the other injured victims were brought to the nearby hospital and were reportedly in stable condition, while one other victim who suffered from a grazing wound refused to go to the hospital, the New York Post disclosed.
The pregnant woman killed was five months pregnant at the time. Also, the family of the pregnant woman killed stated Vallian’s eagerness to become a mother.

Pregnant Woman Killed Suspects
According to the published report by People, there were two potential suspects who happened to be two of the injured persons who were being held at the nearby hospital. Houston department’s homicide detectives will conduct a follow-up investigation for the suspect’s involvement in the incident together with other possible suspects.
