Joshua Black was accused of raping an unnamed juvenile victim he lured into a wooded area in Maryland. Reports say the rape suspect was also accused of sexually assaulting two college students in 2022.
The Montgomery County Department of Police states that on July 20, at around 7 p.m., a suspect allegedly lured an unnamed juvenile victim into the wooded area in the 17700 block of Prince Philip Dr. in Olney before raping her.According to Vacchiano, the authorities immediately identified the rape suspect as Joshua Black, 31, after the crime was reported. In addition, detectives released a photo of the rape suspect and encouraged anyone who may have also been a victim to come forward.

Charges Faced by Rape Suspect
According to Cohn, on July 21, the rape suspect faced charges of several counts of second-degree rape and third-degree sex offenses. Thereafter, the rape suspect was held without bond and taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
Further reports say that in April 2022, the rape suspect was also accused of sexually assaulting two college students at the University of Maryland in the city of College Park. The rape suspect was then charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree sex offense for the previous crimes.
