The California Reparations Task Force‘s 1,100 pages of report contain an authentic to-do list made by the Radical Left. The California Reparations Task Force’s list included recommendations of a guaranteed basic income, health insurance for Black residents, free college tuition, forgivable and interest-free loans for small businesses, and the cancellation of interest debt on unpaid child support.

In addition, according to Richardson, the California Reparations Task Force’s report also recommends policing of nuisance offenses like allowing Black LGBTQ teenagers to receive “mental health care” without parental consent, implementing “rent caps” in red-lined areas, and public urination.

Evaluation of California Reparations Task Force’s Report

According to Cooley, Governor Gavin Newsom and the Legislature controlled by Democrats still have six months to evaluate the California Reparations Task Force’s report and its recommendations. In the final report, the California Reparations Task Force did not suggest a total cost.

However, based on the report’s financial projection, an eligible resident could receive up to $1.2 million. The estimated total cost of the California Reparations Task Force’s plan is between $500 billion and $800 billion which is substantially greater than the $300 billion annual budget of the state.
