$1,000 Under Guaranteed Income Pilot Program Arriving In Los Angeles Tomorrow!

An article in MARCA states that the application for the Guaranteed Income pilot program began on June 20 and eventually ended last July 3. Thereafter, the Guaranteed Income pilot program will begin issuing the payments tomorrow, July 15.

Guaranteed Income Pilot Program Eligibility 

According to Knox, the Guaranteed Income pilot program requires an applicant to be at least 21 years old and must not turn the age of 24 before this coming September 1. In addition, the applicant must have been in the care of Los Angeles’ Department of Children and Family Services on or after the age of 18.

Other eligibility requirements under the Guaranteed Income pilot program include making an income at or below 100% of the area median income for a household with one member. For a household of two or more, the income earned must be 120% of the area median income. Last but not the least, the applicant must have been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and must not be under another Guaranteed Income pilot program.
