Larry Nassar was stabbed inside his prison cell but the attack was not seen in surveillance cameras. Reports say it was the second time the serial child molester was assaulted while in prison.
On July 9, serial child molester Larry Nassar, 59, was stabbed inside his prison cell at the United States Penitentiary Coleman II, a federal penitentiary in Florida. Reports say the prisoner who attacked the serial child molester was armed with a makeshift weapon. The serial child molester was then stabbed several times in the neck, chest, and back. However, an article in CNN states that the assault of the serial child molester was an “unwitnessed event” as a video, which is a key piece of evidence, is lacking. Prison cells are apparently blind spots for surveillance cameras that record common areas and corridors only. In addition, the two officers guarding the serial child molester were working mandated overtime shifts due to shortage in staff.
Serial Child Molester Assaulted Twice
According to an article in USNews.com, the incident last Sunday was the second time that the serial child molester was assaulted. Reports say the serial child molester had also been previously assaulted in May 2018 while serving at a federal prison in Tucson, Arizona. Attorneys of the serial child molester claims that the attack was due to the infamy of their client’s case following a week of broadcasted sentencing.
