Florida Teen and rising softball star broke her silence says, she was paralyzed from the chest down after her ex-boyfriend allegedly stabbed her multiple times in June.
Florida Teen Was Stab In June And Got Paralyzed
Florida Teen 17 years old Madison Schemitz a rising senior at Ponte Verde High School, spoke publicly for the first time since being stabbed multiple times at a local sports bar and restaurant on June 3, allegedly by her deranged ex-boyfriend Spencer Pearson 18 years old.
New York Post reported that Pearson attacked her and stabbed her approximately 15 times then he attacked her mom, and a good Samaritan before turning the knife on himself, police said.
Schemitz’s mom attempted to intervene when she herself was stabbed in the forehead and leg. A bystander, who was also injured in the attack, was able to disarm Pearson, but not before he slit his own throat as he attempted to suicide, authorities said.
Spencer Pearson is charged with two counts of attempted premeditated first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
According to WLTV-TV, citing an incident report filed by the victim’s mother less than a week before the attack, Pearson was allegedly stalking Schemitz on her way to school and placing notes on her car in the school parking lot after Schemitz had broken up with Pearson.
According to the station, he was creating fake accounts on social media to harass the Florida teen and make suicidal statements toward her.

The Florida Teen Reveals She Is Paralyzed
The Florida teen hag spoke his silence to reporters Friday at Brooks Rehabilitation, where she was surrounded by her mom, Jaclyn “Jacki” Roge, hero bystander Kennedy Armstrong, friends, and medical staff, the Florida Times-Union reported, sharing her recovery and claiming that she is currently paralyzed from the chest down.
However, the Florida teen is determined and confident that one day she could walk again. Schemitz expressed her gratitude to everyone who helped save her life and treat her after the brutal attack that she experience, also she extended her appreciation to first responders, doctors, nurses, therapists, and nutritionists.
Schmitz said during a press conference that she wants to start a chapter of One Love Foundation, a non-profit that strives to fight relationship violence, at Ponte Vedra High School in the hope of raising awareness to everyone regarding toxic behaviors in relationships.
According to online court records that Pearson is currently in prison and charged with two counts of attempted premeditated murder and three counts of aggravated battery.
It was not immediately clear if Pearson has entered a plea or retained a lawyer on his behalf.
A GoFundMe page for Schemitz has so far raised approximately $150,000.
