The unnamed teenager suspect in the Baltimore shooting last July 2 was ultimately held without bail. Reports say the shooting incident left 2 individuals killed and 28 others injured.

According to Wehner, apart from the Baltimore shooting casualties, 28 others, of which more than a dozen were minors, also sustained non-fatal injuries. Baltimore’s acting police commissioner Richard Worley stated that it remains unclear whether the Baltimore shooting was random or targeted.

Baltimore Shooting Suspect Arrested
According to Jimenez, the Baltimore Police Department stated that on July 7, at around 7 a.m., the 17-year-old male suspect in the Baltimore shooting was arrested by the Homicide and SWAT team after they conducted a search warrant at his house.
Thereafter, the Baltimore shooting suspect was transported to Central Booking where he faced charges of assault weapon possession, possession of a firearm by a minor, possession of a handgun in a vehicle, and reckless endangerment.
On July 10, during a bail review hearing, the assistant state’s attorney described the Baltimore shooting suspect as a threat to the public despite not having a criminal history and no weapon being recovered. In the end, the Baltimore shooting suspect was held without bail in the afternoon of the same day.
