Kansas Nightclub Shooting Left 7 Individuals Injured, 2 Others Trampled

A shooting incident at a nightclub in Wichita, Kansas left seven individuals injured and two others trampled by the crowd. Reports say the individual in police custody is believed to be at least one of the suspects of the Kansas nightclub shooting.

On July 2, at around 12:58 a.m., officers from the Wichita Police Department responded to reports about a Kansas nightclub shooting at 222 North Washington Street. The officers were already in the Old Town area of the city when they heard the chaos and saw people running outside the building.

An article in CNN states that upon responding to the Kansas nightclub shooting, the officers discovered two individuals who were injured after being trampled by the crowd. In addition, seven individuals sustained gunshot injuries following the Kansas nightclub shooting.

Further reports say the wounded victims were identified as both men and women, ranging from ages 21 to 34. On the other hand, the two other injured victims were a 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman.

Investigation to the Kansas Nightclub Shooting

According to an article in ABC News, after a preliminary investigation, authorities determined that at least four firearms were discharged during the Kansas nightclub shooting. The authorities have already confiscated four firearms and are now working on a ballistics match.

To date, the Kansas nightclub shooting incident remains under investigation. However, authorities believe that the individual who is currently in police custody is one of the suspects who fired a weapon during the Kansas nightclub shooting.
