American Baseball Player Barry Bonds Maintains Innocence Over Drugs, Steroids Allegations

American baseball player Barry Bonds remains out of the Hall of Fame and has been the center of controversy for 20 years. However, despite allegations of his negative character and use of drugs, Barry Bonds maintains his innocence over using performance-enhancing steroids.

According to Morik, Barry Bonds was left out by several voters of the Hall of Fame due to his negative personality. In 2011, Bonds was found guilty of obstructing justice following an investigation into a supplier of steroids. However, in 2015, the conviction for Barry Bonds had been overturned.

Barry Bonds’ Records

According to Harding, Barry Bonds won seven Most Valuable Player awards on top of his record of 762 home runs, which many believe is fraudulent. Barry Bonds’ records of 73 home runs and 232 walks in 2001, as well as his .609 on-base percentage and 120 intentional passes in 2004 reportedly remain in a single season. In 2018, his number 25 was retired by the baseball team San Francisco Giants.

Reports say last May, the American pay television network HBO began its production of a documentary that will feature Barry Bonds who remains to be one of the infamous baseball players of all time.
