Paula Peltonovich’s father wrote in his will that he wanted to donate his remains following his death in 2019. However, Peltonovich learned that body parts have been stolen and sold from the Harvard Medical School morgue.

Nicholas Pichowicz, Paula Peltonovich’s father, from New Hampshire passed away at the age of 87 in 2019. Reportedly, Pichowicz wrote in his will that he wanted to donate his remains. However, Peltonovich learned that several individuals have been indicted for stealing and selling body parts from the Harvard Medical School morgue.

According to Vacchiano, Peltonovich reported that the Harvard Medical School morgue confirmed that Pichowicz had become a victim of the trafficking scheme. However, Peltonovich has not yet been able to get further information due to pending legal matters.

According to Ly, Cedric Lodge, on June 14, the former manager of the Harvard Medical School morgue was indicted by a federal grand jury. Along with Lodge, his wife Denise, alleged complices Katrina Maclean, Jeremy Pauley, and Joshua Taylor were also indicted for their suspected roles in the trafficking scheme. Reports say in March, the remains of Peltonovich’s mother were also donated to the Harvard Medical School morgue. However, their family is now working to retrieve their mother’s body back.
