Famous Virginia Dentist Allegedly Stabbed to Death by Own Daughter

Michael “Norah” Horwitz was arrested for allegedly stabbing her father, Dr. Abbey Horwitz, to death. Authorities believe that the Virginia dentist was killed following a domestic dispute inside his house.

On the morning of June 3, Michael “Norah” Horwitz, 34, allegedly stabbed her father, Dr. Abbey Horwitz, 68, to death. Reports say the incident happened inside the victim’s house in the neighborhood of Birdneck Point in Virginia Beach.

According to Bickerton, Dr. Abbey was a famous dentist in Virginia for more than 40 years. Furthermore, the Virginia dentist was married and a father to three children. One of them was Michael, also known as “Norah”, who is reportedly in the process of gender transition.

Virginia Dentist’s Daughter Charged

According to Acosta, the Virginia dentist’s daughter was arrested and faced charges of stabbing in the commission of a felony and second-degree murder. To date, Norah is being held at the Virginia Beach Jail where she is placed under a suicide watch.

Reports say Norah had been appointed with a public defender. However, it is still unclear if she has already entered a plea. In addition, the motive for the stabbing is also not yet clear. Nonetheless, authorities believe that the incident happened during what they call a domestic dispute.
