In a Houston shooting incident, six individuals were shot, one of whom is in critical condition, following a disturbance that originated inside a Houston nightclub and spilled over into a crowded parking lot, according to CBS News.

At approximately 2:10 a.m., officers swiftly responded to reports of gunshots at Tabú, as stated by Police Chief Troy Finner. Upon arrival, they discovered six victims, all aged between their late twenties and early thirties. Five of the victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while one underwent emergency surgery.
“Our prayers are with him, hoping he pulls through,” expressed Finner concerning the critically injured individual.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and law enforcement is still uncertain about the number of shooters involved. Police officials will thoroughly examine surveillance camera footage for any leads or information.
While the exact cause of the disturbance that triggered the Houston shooting remains unknown, Finner acknowledged the nightclub’s history of previous issues. He emphasized that the responsible shooter would be held accountable and called upon individuals to exercise better judgment.
“Firing shots into a crowded parking lot, regardless of any ongoing disputes or personal conflicts, is senseless,” Finner stated, highlighting the risks and consequences of such reckless actions.
