A Minnesota woman went missing after she dropped her children off at daycare on the morning of March 31 in Winona, Minnesota and police found her remains in a secluded area.

Ex-boyfriend Charged In Madeline Kingsbury’s Death

Madeline Kingsbury, 27 years old was last seen on March 31 after dropping off her two young children at daycare in Winona, a southern Minnesota town of about 26,000 residents.

According to the Winona Police Department, a Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted information generated after Kingsbury’s disappearance and said that the apparent human remains were found in some brush along Highway 43 near Mabel, about 46 miles south of Winona.

Thursday, the Winona Police confirmed in a news conference that the remains were positively identified as the Minnesota woman, Madeline Kingsbury. Police Chief Tom Williams said Kingsbury’s remains were discovered off a “low-maintenance public roadway and were not property owned by the Fravel family or the victim’s relatives.”

Williams confirmed investigators once searched the area, but her body was “covered and hidden in such a manner that she was not visible.”

Later Wednesday, after the discovery, law enforcement officials arrested Kingsbury’s ex-husband, Adam Fravel 29-year-old man who is the father of Kingsbury’s two children in connection with her disappearance and death.

Kingsbury’s cause and manner of death were not revealed.

Moreover, Jail logs show that he was being held on suspicion of second-degree murder, according to Abc 7 News.

Kingsbury’s had 2 children that are aged 2 years old while the older one was 5, and both are in the custody of her parents since she went missing.

Kingsbury’s The Missing Minnesota Woman

According to Williams that Kingsbury was last seen Friday, March 31, when she and Fravel dropped their children off at daycare at approximately 8 a.m. and  Kingsbury was home by 8:15 a.m.

The Minnesota woman’s co-workers, became concerned when she was not able to show up for work that day, which was “very unusual for her.”

Fravel told the police that he took Kingsbury’s minivan and vacated at 10 a.m., and when he returned to the house, Kingsbury went missing. However, the Police found her wallet and phone at her house.
