It was announced that Northampton County is requesting qualifications from construction contractors and sub-contractors to install a list of pre-qualified contractors for the Whole Home Repair Program.
Northampton County Is Requesting For The List Of Qualification For The Whole Home Repair Program
The Northampton County Department of Community and Economic Development together with County Executive Lamont G. McClure has announced the qualifications list that is needed for the Whole Home Repair Program.
The Whole-Home Repairs Program is funded by for Northampton County homeowners to address habitability and safety matters, provide measures to enhance energy or water efficiency and make units accessible for individuals with disabilities in owner-occupied, primary residences.
The Valley Ledger reported that the Northampton County program will have an amount that is granted to county homeowners supporting up to $20,000 per unit. Household income that will not exceed 80 percent of the total area median income.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth appropriated federal funds from the COVID-19 Response Restricted Account to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development for this program.

Here Are The Request For Qualifications (RFQ) Must Be Submitted In Writing
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and its attachments describe the terms and conditions underneath which the Department will approve contractors. Contractors are requested to present Qualifications to be considered for future projects. Submittals shall describe qualifications, prior construction and rehabilitation knowledge, financial capability, and a description of past projects they have finished which are similar to the Department’s proposed projects.
Qualifications submitted in response to this RFQ must be submitted in writing to:
