Walmart’s Salary Increase

Retail giant Walmart’s salary increase for a significant number of its employees has been announced, with a particular focus on expanding its presence in the healthcare sector, Alabama Com reported.

According to a recent release, Walmart’s salary increase for its 3,700 pharmacists is raised to an average of $140,000 per year, excluding bonuses and incentives.

Walmart emphasized the importance of work-life balance and customer and employee feedback, citing adjustments made earlier this year to the hours of operation at pharmacies and vision centers nationwide.

In addition to pharmacists, approximately 4,000 opticians will also receive Walmart’s salary increase.

The average wage for this position will exceed $22.50 per hour, aligning with the retailer’s strategy of providing quality jobs that lead to promising careers.
