Pennsylvania Woman Allegedly Shoots Estranged Husband to Death During Heated Park Argument

A shooting incident happened on Tuesday at a bustling waterfront park in Pennsylvania, where a Pennsylvania woman stands accused of fatally shooting her estranged husband during an argument.

Pennsylvania Woman Allegedly Shoots Estranged Husband to Death

According to a press release from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Sammar Khan, 40 years old Pennsylvania woman, allegedly shot to death her 38-year-old estranged husband, Faisal Iqbal.

The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. at the Bristol Borough Wharf, where the Pennsylvania woman Khan and estranged husband Iqbal had arranged to meet and “discuss their relationship.”

Witnesses reported that the situation escalated when the Pennsylvania woman began speaking loudly in another language. Suddenly, a distinct “pop sound” was heard, and Iqbal immediately engaged in a physical struggle with Khan.

More gunshots rang out during the altercation as the pair moved away from the coastline towards the parking lot. At least one witness heard Iqbal urging someone to call 911, PEOPLE reported.

Unfortunately, the Pennsylvania woman allegedly shot her estranged husband twice, causing him to collapse in a grassy area between the water and the parking lot. Tragically, the Pennsylvania woman didn’t stop there. She reportedly approached the defenseless Iqbal, shooting him twice in the torso and once in the head, according to authorities.

Responding officers arrived to find the Pennsylvania woman Khan with blood on her clothes. The park, teeming with multiple people at the time of the incident, became a scene of horror.

Iqbal was discovered lying in the grass, his body bearing visible gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics.

Pennsylvania Woman Arrested

According to a press release from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Pennsylvania woman Sammar Khan  was indicted on charges of criminal homicide, possession of an instrument of crime, and recklessly endangering another person after allegedly shooting her 38-year-old estranged husband, Faisal Iqbal,

During the investigation, law enforcement recovered a bloody 9mm firearm near the location.

Interviews with a man claiming to be Khan’s boyfriend shed further light on the troubled relationship between Khan and Iqbal. According to the man, the couple’s previous relationship had become stormy.

Shockingly, Pennsylvania woman Khan admitted to the police that the meeting with Iqbal had taken a dark turn, resulting in his death.

The Pennsylvania woman now faces imprisonment at the Bucks County Correctional Facility, where she is being held without bail.

It remains unclear whether she has entered a plea or obtained legal representation.
