Earl Hargrove, Jr. was charged with attempted murder for pouring gasoline and lighting a man on fire in Florida. Reports say the suspect was involved in a verbal argument with the victim which led to the incident.

According to Wehner, thereafter, Hargrove Jr. allegedly poured gas on the victim before setting him on fire. Fortunately, the victim was immediately transported to Tampa General Hospital in Florida. Reports say the identity of the victim was not revealed, but he was listed as critical with life-threatening injuries.
Charges Faced by Suspect
An article in WTSP.com states that on the same day, May 28, Hargrove Jr. was arrested and faced charges of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and first-degree attempted murder. To date, he is reportedly being held in the Hillsborough County Orient Road Jail without bond.
Sheriff Chad Chronister of Hillsborough County states that the attempted murder suspect’s behavior must not be tolerated. Chronister adds that a verbal argument must never escalate to the level of violence shown by Hargrove Jr.
