A man is charged with killing an Indiana police officer.

Four Indiana Police officers were responding to a domestic violence call involving a man named Elliahs Dorsey when one of the police officers, Breann Leath was shot to death through the door of an Indianapolis apartment.

She died of two gunshots in her head.

Elliahs Dorsey faces one count each of murder and criminal confinement, and four counts of attempted murder, one of which stems from his alleged shooting of a woman he had confined inside the apartment.

A Marion County judge ruled this month that prosecutors can seek the death penalty against Dorsey.
