Patrick Clark was charged with murder in connection with the death of American rapper Takeoff. Reports say Takeoff was shot to death outside a private party in Houston, Texas in 2022.
On November 1, 2022, American rapper Takeoff, then 28, was shot to death outside a party at 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas. Police Chief Troy Finner states that there was an altercation outside the bowling alley which caused the shooting incident. Authorities added that the rapper Takeoff was only a bystander to the altercation.An article in CNN states that the rapper Takeoff was the youngest member of the hip hop trio Migos. The other members were Takeoff’s uncle, Quavo, and another rapper Offset. Fellow celebrities like Justin Bieber and Drake remembered rapper Takeoff as a talented artist and a loving person during his memorial last year.

Suspect of Rapper Takeoff’s Killing
According to Valdez, in connection with the death of rapper Takeoff, Patrick Clark, 33, was arrested in December 2022. In addition, Cameron Joshua, 22, was also arrested and faced charges of unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Eventually, on May 25, a grand jury in Harris County indicted Clark on charges of murder. The arraignment documents stated that Clark illegally, intentionally, and knowingly committed a felony offense of deadly conduct by firing a weapon at and in the direction of rapper Takeoff. To date, Clark reportedly remains under house arrest with a $1 million bond.
