The other remaining states do not have a law that specifies either brass knuckles are illegal or legal. In the state of Texas, they can be carried for self-defense purposes, and in South Carolina, brass knuckles are not permitted in hospitals or schools but they are legal in the state.

The Walmart settlement is proof that online retailers are the ones who are responsible for what they sell in the state, Attorney General Rob Bonta said.
He added that illegal weapons have no place in California.
