Kevin Monahan was charged with murder for killing Kaylin Gillis after her boyfriend pulled into a wrong driveway in rural New York. However, the murder suspect pleaded not guilty during his recent arraignment.
On April 15, a group of young adults were driving in Washington County, around 55 miles north of Albany in New York. Blake Walsh, 19, stated that his girlfriend, Kaylin Gillis, 20, and two other friends were looking for a party. An article in CNN states that Walsh pulled into the wrong driveway because they did not have any cellular service to help them find the right address. Nonetheless, as soon as they figured it out, they started to leave. However, it was when a man allegedly started shooting their vehicle full of passengers where Gillis died a short time later.

Charges Faced by Murder Suspect
According to an article in CNY Central, authorities eventually identified the man as Kevin Monahan, 65, who faced charges of reckless endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, and second-degree murder. On May 24, the murder suspect was reportedly arraigned but pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Last April, during a bail hearing, a judge remanded the murder suspect back to police custody.
