Remains of Jefferson Machado Found in Brazil

On January 27, the South American soap star Jefferson Machado, 44 years old was reported missing. His loved ones first reported him missing after his eight dogs were found alone.

According to local media outlet R7, the body and remains of the missing soap actor Jefferson Machado were recovered by Brazilian authorities on Monday. His remains were found in a trunk encased in cement, the outlet reports.

According to a published article in PEOPLE, the body of the missing soap actor Jefferson Machado has been found sealed in a trunk and buried in the backyard of a Campo Grande, Brazil, home.

Jefferson Machado’s Family Confirms His Death

The family’s attorney of the soap star Jefferson Machado confirmed his death in a statement on Facebook.

In his statement, he shared the sad news of the death of Jefferson Machado. According to him, the soap actor’s body was found with strangulation signs which confronted them with the cruelty that is present in society.

The lawyer stated that preliminary investigation demonstrates that the body of Jefferson Machado was found in a trunk, buried in a hole.

According to R7, the house where the body of Jefferson Machado was found was rented by the actor’s friend.  The soap actor’s friend is currently under investigation and has not been publicly identified by the authorities.

Before his disappearance, Jefferson Machado starred in the soap opera Reis.
