Social Security also offers to those who are wounded warriors and it also protects veterans when an injury stops them from returning to active duty or performing other work.

Wounded military service members can obtain expedited processing of their Social Security disability claims.  If you are part of a veteran with a full Permanent & Total compensation rating from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs then the Social Security will expedite your disability claim.

The Department of Veteran Affairs as well as the Social Security Administration have disability programs. Furthermore, disability benefits under one program but not the other, or you may qualify for both is also applicable to qualifying military service members. However, it depends on the situation, some Military households including dependent children or spouses, may be eligible to receive Social Security benefits.
