18-year-old Beau Wilson has shot 3 individuals to death and injured 6 others in Farmington, New Mexico. Consequently, the shooting suspect was also killed by the officers who responded to the crime scene.

In the morning of May 15, officers responded to a report about a shooting incident in the city of Farmington in New Mexico. At around 11 a.m., the shooting suspect reportedly fired gunshots to at least three vehicles and six houses before the Farmington Police arrived at the crime scene.

According to an article in USA Today, the shooting suspect had killed three individuals and injured six others. Reports say among the injured victims, two were police officers and four were civilians. Nonetheless, the shooting suspect was was killed by the officers at the scene and identified as Beau Wilson, 18.

Target of Shooting Suspect

An article in CNN states that according to Steve Hebbe, the city’s police chief, the shooting suspect had used three guns, one of which was an AR-15-style rifle. However, Hebbe added that the incident seemed to be random. This is because there were no individuals, schools, or churches that were targeted.

Spokesperson Laura Werbner stated that the San Juan Regional Medical Center admitted seven individuals. An injured officer from the New Mexico State Police reportedly drove himself to the center and is hospitalized to date. On the contrary, another injured officer was already released from the hospital.
