The final round of the May 2023 Social Security payments will be up for grabs to Americans this week.
Millions of Americans can receive payments worth up to $4,555.
This month, as per the Social Security payments date are mailed out on every second, third, and fourth Wednesday of the month, the May 2023 Social Security payments are available on these dates; May 10, 17, and 24.
Depending on the recipient’s birthday, it is the time the checks are mailed to them.

May 2023 Social Security Payments
The maximum benefit of Social Security payments is set at $4,555, thanks to this year’s Cost-Of-Living Adjustment or COLA, while the average check is $1,827.
You will receive your payments depending on your birthdate. Recipients whose birthdays fall between the first and 1oth month can receive their checks on the second Wednesday of each month. While recipients whose birthdays fall between the 11th and 20th can receive the checks for this month on May 17. Lastly, recipients whose birthdays are after the 21st of the month will receive their payments on May 24.
