A missing boy in New York City was reportedly found in the Hudson River last Saturday morning, CBS News reported.

Missing Boy Found Dead

The 11-year-old missing boy was identified as Alfa Barrie, who went missing on May 14, the New York City Police Department said.

The missing boy was found in the Hudson River and was unresponsive.

The NYPD Harbor Unit received a call about a body that was found in the water near 102 Street and Riverside Drive. Emergency medical services pronounced the boy dead on the scene. While the medical examiner has not yet determined the cause of death of the boy.

On the other hand, the body of 13-year-old Garrett Warren was found a quarter of a mile from his home, in Harlem River, several days after he went missing.

Missing Boys In New York City

Police confirmed that the two boys were last seen together on surveillance video in Harlem near 145th Street and Lenox Avenue close to Warren’s Harlem home.

Relatives of Alfa Barrie said that the boy was last seen at his family home in the Bronx last May 12.

Warren’s mother, Dayshell Moore said on Friday night that the boys come home at around 1:30 a.m. to change clothes and had been together.

The two boys left to play basketball, and then that’s the last time they saw the two boys.

The investigation of the case is ongoing and NYPD calls for public help to fasten the investigation of the case.
