The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program will be distributing the next round of Social Security checks in 2023 on June 1. Fortunately, for the month of June, there will be two scheduled payments, with the second one falling on June 30. This is because the first day of July is on a weekend and these dates are exception to the SSA payment schedule.

According to Nesbit, the SSI payments are often distributed on the first day of each month. However, if the date falls on a weekend or a holiday, the schedule will be moved to the previous business day instead. For instance, the first days of the months of April, July, and October 2023 and January 2024 falls on either a weekend or a holiday. This means that there will be two Social Security checks in 2023 for the months of March, June, September, and December.
