Authorities released a body camera footage of the New Mexico shooting that left three individuals dead and six others injured. Reports say the deceased included the suspect, who the authorities shot upon arriving at the crime scene.

On May 15, authorities responded to a report about a shooting incident in the Farmington neighborhood in New Mexico. Upon arriving at the crime scene, they discovered a suspect randomly firing bullets which prompted them to shoot him back. Following the New Mexico shooting, two police officers were injured and the suspect was pronounced dead.

According to Sabes, the New Mexico shooting suspect was later identified as Beau Wilson, 18. Reports say three individuals were killed including Shirley Voita, 79; Gwendolyn Schofield, 97; and Schofield’s daughter, Melody Ivie, 73.

Footage of the New Mexico Shooting

According to Deliso, authorities recently released a body camera footage that revealed the events that happened during the New Mexico shooting. The footage showed the authorities who responded to the incident rushing toward the crime scene and shooting Wilson thereafter.

One of the police officers who were shot during the New Mexico shooting was also seen falling to the ground. The other police officers, on the other hand, were seen providing medical aid to the injured officer. Fortunately, both injured police officers have already been released from the local hospitals they were transported to.

Reportedly, Wilson was a senior student at Farmington High School where graduation was scheduled to be held last May 16. Investigators state that they do not believe Wilson knew any of the victims of the New Mexico shooting.
