An unnamed man was charged with assault after shoving a Premier League manager, Eddie Howe of Newcastle United. Consequently, the assault suspect had been arrested and issued with a lifetime ban.
On May 13, an unnamed spectator walked towards the technical area of Newcastle United late into the match and confronted the Premier League manager, Eddie Howe. Fortunately, right after appearing to shove Howe, the man was immediately escorted away.According to Lewis, Leeds United confirmed that after the incident at the English Premier League match with them against Newcastle United, the assault suspect had been arrested. In addition, a charge of entering the field of play had been filed and a lifetime ban had been issued against him. The assault suspect was scheduled to appear before magistrates in July. However, West Yorkshire Police states that he had already posted bail.

Assault Suspect Banned
According to Mendoza, following the English Premier League match, Howe stated in a press conference that the security of players and team staff must be improved. When asked for a comment, the Premier League mentioned the joint statement released by the chief executives of the Premier League, the English Football League, the Football Association, and the Football Supporters’ Association last April.
Reportedly, the statement mentioned that any supporter who enters a soccer pitch with no permission would be breaking the law. This is because they would be putting the welfare of the players, their fellow fans, the coaches, and the club staff in danger.
