A suspect in Cumberland County car shoot-out is behind bars accused of causing a pregnant woman to lose her unborn child after he opened fire on her and five other people.
James Junior Mcbryde Is Arrested For Opening Fire Into Car With 6 Passengers In Cumberland County
James Junior Mcbryde 32 years old was held at Cumberland County Detention Center behind bars for shooting a car with 6 passengers and on a $3,100,000 secured bond.
There were six people inside the car, including a pregnant woman. The incident resulted in to loss of the pregnant woman’s unborn child and three other people were hit by gunshots.
ABC11 news stated that the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said Mcbryde is the man who fired off shots into a black 2023 Toyota Camry on May 6. It happened around 1 a.m. near Interstate 95 and Exit 40.
Moreover, Mcbryde also faces additional charges of three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury; three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill; six counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied property; and six counts of attempted first-degree murder, CityView News release said.
James Junior Mcbryde Is scheduled For His Court Appearance On Tuesday
Mcbryde faces a slew of criminal charges. His first court appearance is scheduled for 2:30 in the afternoon Tuesday at the jail.
