The New York Police Department revealed new photos of the hate crime suspects under investigation in connection to a brutal attack in Roosevelt Island. Reports say a 35-year-old victim was attacked by the three suspects almost a month ago.
In the night of April 14, authorities from the 114th Precinct stated that a 35-year-old victim was brutally attacked by three young Black men behind one of the newest buildings under construction in Roosevelt Island. The definite location of the attack was said to be near the Welling Court Mural Project within the intersection between Main Avenue and 30th Avenue which is near the southeast corner of the Astoria Houses.According to Parry, one of the hate crime suspects kicked the victim in their head, while the other two made anti-white remarks against the victim. After the incident, the hate crime suspects reportedly fled the scene and escaped towards the Roosevelt Avenue MTA F train station. The victim reportedly suffered pain to their head, but fortunately did not require being transferred to a hospital.

Hate Crime Suspects Still At Large
An article in ABC7 New York states that the New York Police Department (NYPD) recently revealed new photos of the hate crime suspects from a surveillance footage. However, to date, the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force states that the incident is still going underway.
