Jaime Torres was shot to death in the recent Bombshells shooting incident near the Gulf Freeway in Houston. To date, the police are still searching for the suspect and Torres’ missing pickup truck.
In the early hours of May 7, a man was reportedly shot to death outside a known sports bar in the southeast of Houston, Texas. The victim of the Bombshells shooting incident was eventually identified by relatives as Jaime Torres, 26. Reports say Torres had left behind his widow, Arlinda Mendoza, and their four children where the oldest two are five and the youngest is 10 months old.According to Conner, Torres was shot several times at the sports bar near the Gulf Freeway. His widow would not have known about the Bombshells shooting if she did not across news articles about the incident. Mendoza stated that when she saw a photo of the license plate of Torres’ pickup truck, she started screaming and fell to the ground.

Bombshells Shooting Incident
An article in ABC13 states that Torres and two of her friends were hanging out at the sports bar when the victim was overserved and asked to leave. Mendoza was allegedly upset that Torres’ friends did not walk him to his truck and frustrated over the lack of explanation of what happened during the Bombshells shooting.
To date, the Houston Police are still searching for the Bombshells shooting suspect and Torres’ missing 2016 black Chevy Silverado. The sports bar had already turned over surveillance video to the investigators that Mendoza hopes will lead their family toward closure.
