Philadelphia Shooting Results to 3 Dead Teens, 1 Injured; 2 Charged in Connection

Two unidentified teenagers have been charged in connection with the recent Philadelphia shooting. Following the incident, three teenagers were found dead in different locations and one arrived injured at a hospital.

On April 28, around 3:30 p.m., Lieutenant John Stanford stated that authorities were called to the residence in the neighborhood of Lawncrest in the northeast of Philadelphia. At the crime scene, one teenager was discovered shot to death on the sidewalk, another was dead on the porch, and a third teenager was discovered inside the house. All three teenagers were declared at the crime scene of the Philadelphia shooting.

An article in the CBS News states that on April 29, following the Philadelphia shooting, the teenager discovered dead on the sidewalk was identified as Malik Ballard, 17. The teenager discovered dead on the front porch was identified as Khalif Frezghi, 18. Lastly, the teenager discovered dead in the doorway of the house was identified as Salah Fleming, 14. At the Jefferson Frankford Hospital, another unidentified male teenager aged 16 arrived injured.

Investigations of Philadelphia Shooting Ongoing

According to Mastrull, Stanford stated that two unidentified teenagers, ages 15 and 16, were taken into custody after recovering a gun from a vehicle. These teenagers faced charges related to firearms and other offenses. To date, authorities stated that investigations about the Philadelphia shooting are still ongoing.

Reports say officials of the School District of Philadelphia confirmed that two of the three teenagers that were killed have been students from the school district. One teenager was apparently in eighth grade, while the other was in eleventh grade.
